A great way to add a wow factor to any room is to use
stripes.
Stripes can be used on walls, windows, floors or
accessories. I recently came across these images from Pinterest and love the
way the stripes have been painted on the walls, this is a great way of achieving
the industrial look at the same time of adding a feature to any room.
Softer colours can help make a stripe feel more feminine
and elegant and can be used in a female bedroom, bathroom or any room where you
don’t want to much of an impact but still want some interest.
I just adore this room with the yellow border it’s also a
great way of adding interest but because of the one stripe around the room
other stripes can also be introduced into the scheme. Striped accessories in
the form of a cushions or throws would work really well in this room but so
would a striped blind.

blinds and these would be a perfect way of adding stripes into any room.
These grey stripe blinds are perfect for an industrial
style bedroom or office but I think a darker colour would make more of an
feature in a lounge/dining room.
