Bee happy ..... stay in a beautiful guest bedroom

How much do you want to stay in this gorgeous guest room?

I also know that if you were lucky enough to stay here you would also get really well looked after too!

This guest room has a lovely vintage feel to it with touches of cream, greens and gold which all co-ordinate perfectly with matching accessories all adding a touch of glamour.

The ceiling light is 1930s and was found from a car boot and lovingly restored.

The Lloyd loom ottoman was mouldy and green also from a car boot but was brought back to life by being painted gold and recovered with a bold floral fabric with matching cushions finishing the look.

The green glass vase on the drawers is a family heirloom and suits this room really well and also holds wonderful memories.

The pictures and paintings on the wall in this relaxing room all have a vintage hue and co-ordinate beautifully with the colours used in here on the walls, furniture and furnishings.

Beautiful green velvet curtains were in an auction from a stately home and are beautifully made with a weighted base which pool wonderfully on the gorgeous wooden floorboards which were stripped and stained a rich brown.

All of the gorgeous furniture was pine from different times and places and was painted in Farrow and Ball satin slipper and then glass knobs were fitted on all of the finished pieces to tie them all in together in the room.

The original doors from 1947 are still in place throughout the house but the handles have been replaced.

I just love this bedroom, so beautiful and relaxing, I think I need to book a week here :)

Bee happy ..... a chill out dining room

It's time for another reader's room.

This is a dining room but a chill out room at the same time full of vintage treasures and finds.

The neutral background lets the accessories speak for themselves.

I just love the fireplace which has been put to good use as a display area for vintage jars/bottles.

It was this couples wedding anniversary at the time and this sign is just perfect for them.

Modern and vintage accessories sit happily together side by side and just adds more character to this wonderful room.

Bee happy ...... vintage style storage

I love the vintage style and I love storage so here are a few storage ideas using vintage styling and products to help you keep organised.

Love this idea of storing craft supplies in a suitcase.

I use a case stand in my office for ribbons already and find it very pretty and useful.

Love this idea for storing smaller pieces.

Hope you are inspired to change your storage around.

Bee happy ...... choose wallpaper

Do you love wallpaper?

I think you may love these patterns.

Anna French wallpaper, I so love this colour and pattern, such a vintage feel to it.

Another Anna French but with a different background colour.

Clarke and Clarke have this gorgeous paisley pattern in different colour ways.

So pretty!

I am having trouble choosing between the pink Anna French and the Clarke and Clarke paisley.

Which would you pick?

Bee happy ... Christmas shopping

I have just put lots of new stock in Bee happy home and accessories.

This is just a small selection.

Great products for Christmas presents for yourself and others.

Go on, you know you want to treat yourself!

I know I have my eye on these vintage style postcard cushions.
They would look great in my living room.

Also on my wish list is the cream bird which is the top of a bird feeder, I think I will have to buy one and use it at Christmas, filling it with different size baubles for my fire hearth. It would also make a great tea light holder.
